A.J. College of Science and Technology was established in 1995 on the side of national high way near Kumaran Asan Memorial. It was the fulfillment of a long cherished desire of the management to start an institution of higher education offering degree and post graduate courses in professional area. Prof. K Y Mohammed Kunju, an eminent academic and administrator has a passion for education and leadership excellence. Since 2002 he has continued to guide A J College which now offers 11 Under Graduate and 6 Post Graduate programs. Prof. Kunju remains deeply active in academic and community life--a life long teacher, visionary, and inspiration to generations. Prof. Kunju began his career as a Mathematic Professor at Iqbal College, Peringammala, and went on to become the Head of the Department. Later he served as the founder Principal of Mannaniya College of Arts and Science, Pangode.
