The department of commerce is committed to developing competent professional in accounting, finance, taxation and business management. Our alumni are place across banking ,finance, accounting and entrepreneurship making us proud with their professional growth

The department offers the following programme under the FYUGP framework, blending academic rigor with practical industry exposure;

• B.com Finance: Focus on corporate finance, investment and financial markets.
• B.com Business Information Systems(BIS):Integration of commerce with IT and data systems.
• B.com Taxation: In depth study of direct\indirect taxes ,GST and compliance practices.

KEY HIGHLIGHTS

• Mandatory internship in banking, manufacturing and audit firms.
• Labs: Commerce computer lab with systems, SPSS &Tally ERP
• Activities: Commerce Association, Commerce Fest, Industrial visits, Investor awareness programmes.
• Achievements: Strong placement assistance ,student start ups, qualified competitive exams like JAM,CUET PG,UGC NET for higher studies and jobs.

Eligibility – A pass in Higher Secondary examination of the State or an Examination accepted by the University as equivalent thereto provided, candidates coming from non-commerce group should have at least 45% of the aggregate marks.
