Department of Business Management
The Department of Business Management at A.J. College of Science and Technology is dedicated to developing entrepreneurship and in-depth knowledge of modern management functions.
The department primarily focuses on professional undergraduate education aligned with industry standards. Affiliated to AICTE, Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) under the Four Year Undergraduate Programme (FYUGP),students can opt for an Honors degree. Students can specialize in the core areas of Logistics designed to meet the high demand in India’s $400 billion logistics market.
The curriculum is designed to balance theoretical foundations with practical industry exposure. A key objective is fostering an entrepreneurial mindset to help students launch their own ventures. The department emphasizes the development of teamwork, communication, and decision-making skills with presentations, seminars, group discussions and case study analysis. Students engage in internships and projects to gain hands-on experience before graduation. Smart classrooms equipped with high-tech aids to facilitate interactive learning. A well-established library provides access to management journals, case studies, and reference books. Guest lectures and workshops provide industrial exposure to the students.
The department maintains a dedicated Placement Cell to bridge the gap between students and recruiters. Alumini have secured roles in major tech and business hubs like Technopark and Infopark. Recruitments to entry-level positions include Accountant, Marketing Executive, and junior management roles. The BBA program serves as a strong foundation for those planning to pursue an MBA or professional certifications like CMA (Certified Management Accountant) or ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants).

a) FYUGP – BUSINESS MANAGEMENT ( Major )
- Duration: 4 Years Regular FYUGP programme
- Eligibility: A pass in Higher Secondary or any other Examination accepted by the University as equivalent thereto with any subject combination with a minimum of 45% Marks in aggregate.
