Established in 1995 at Thonnakkal, A.J. College of Science and Technology is the realization of a cherished dream held by the late Dr. M.A. Abdul Jabbar, a visionary philanthropist dedicated to the advancement of higher education. Founded under the Abdul Razak Memorial Charitable Trust (ARMCT), the institution was sanctioned by the Government of Kerala as a self-financing college and is formally affiliated with the University of Kerala. Today, the college serves as a vibrant academic hub, offering a diverse range of 11 undergraduate and 7 postgraduate courses designed to meet modern educational needs.

The Legacy of Our Founder
The Abdul Razzak Memorial Charitable Trust (ARMCT) was established in Kazhakuttam by the late Dr. M.A. Abdul Jabbar, a renowned philanthropist and visionary. His life’s mission was to uplift the marginalized and needy, providing them with the tools to join the societal mainstream. To achieve this, he established a comprehensive educational ecosystem—ranging from Pre-KG to Higher Secondary levels in both CBSE and State syllabi—alongside specialized institutions for Pharmacy, Nursing, Paramedical sciences, and Industrial Training. Beyond academia, his compassionate reach extended to a Super Specialty Hospital and various charitable initiatives, including housing projects for the homeless in his home village.

A.J. College of Science and Technology, a cornerstone of Dr. Jabbar’s vision, recently celebrated its Silver Jubilee and is now entering its 27th year of commendable service to the community.
